Does VamoCrew replace our group chat?
No. Keep WhatsApp or iMessage for the jokes and conversation. VamoCrew becomes the dependable home for decisions, bookings, owners, money and trip readiness.
Does everyone need the app?
No. An organiser can share secure, action-scoped browser links for selected commitments, votes, tasks and paid-status updates. The full planning and travel experience lives in the app.
Does VamoCrew move or hold money?
No. Expense tools provide an informal shared record only. Payments still happen through the method your group chooses.
Does VamoCrew track everyone’s location?
No. Crew members can choose to send a status, meeting-point or ETA check-in. There is no continuous location tracking.
How do accommodation and activity links work?
Some provider links may earn VamoCrew a referral commission. They are labelled clearly, never add a VamoCrew markup, and do not determine which option is best for your trip.
Why is the beta free?
We are validating the complete organiser experience on real trips before switching on billing. Founding-beta trips stay unlocked through their return date.
When can I try it?
